IND vs AUS: Many changes in Team India for Australia tour, Virat Kohli out, Rohit Sharma returned

 The selection committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has made several changes in the team for the ODI, T20, and Test series against Australia. All these decisions have been taken in the selection committee meeting held on Sunday.



Big changes in the Indian team for the tour of Australia

The Indian team will leave for Australia from UAE on 12th November after the conclusion of IPL 2020. The tour will begin with the ODI series, which will be played on November 27.

Virat Kohli Out

Indian captain Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the last three Test matches of the Test series against Australia. He will return to India after the day-night Test at the Adelaide Oval starting on 17 December. Kohli is going to be a father in January and he wants to be with his wife Anushka Sharma during this time.

Return of Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma has been included in the Test team. However, to regain full fitness, he has been rested in ODIs and T20 series against Australia.

Sanju Samson in the ODI team

Sanju Samson has been included in India's ODI T as a backup wicketkeeper. He was already a part of the T20 team.

Ishant Sharma may return

Fast bowler Ishant Sharma is currently undergoing rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. If Ishant attains full match fitness, he will join the Indian Test team.

T. Natarajan got a chance

Mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty has been ruled out of the T20 series due to a shoulder injury. He has been replaced by fast bowler T Natarajan.

Injured injured

Wriddhiman Saha had a hamstring injury during the match against Mumbai Indians on 3 November. A decision will be taken in the coming times regarding its availability for the Test team alos get more match updates on cricket.



Kamlesh Nagerkoti will not go to Australia

Young fast bowler Kamlesh Nagerkoti will not travel to Australia with the Indian team. He is working closely with the BCCI medical team on the bowling workload.
